The Treasurer has invited Australian families, individuals, businesses and community groups to submit ideas and priorities for the 2012-13 Budget, stating that community views are a vital part of the development of government policies and the budget process.
Interested parties should lodge pre-Budget submissions no later than Friday, 27 January 2012. Pre-Budget Submissions can be sent to the Budget Policy Division Department of the Treasury, Langton Crescent, Parkes, ACT 2600 or via email to prebudgetsubs@treasury.gov.au.
